想起不少人講過的一則笑話：兩個人在船上，一個人問「你在搭船嗎？」「是啊！你呢？」人生總有些話得說說。

音樂會後，聽見年輕觀眾指頭兩首樂曲（《第二鋼琴三重奏》及《鋼琴五重奏》）很悶。節目所選的三首的曲目，都是寫在俄國遭兩大魔頭——斯大林及希特拉——蹂躪之時。蕭斯達高維契就是要寫出反映自己時代的音樂。蕭氏的重要作品中，悲痛與鬱悶以外，鮮有莫扎特的無憂快樂或貝多芬的英雄凱旋，只得慘勝及尖酸的戲謔。那位年輕觀眾可真辜負節目編排及樂手的苦心，幾個人演奏的上半場，其威力比九十人大樂隊的下半場更為骸人。

Trevize shook his head. 'I can't believe that this is happening. Old age is overtaking you and you have discovered youth. Janov, you're trying to be a hero, so that you can die for that body.'
'Don't say that, Golan. This is not a fit subject for humour.'

只見治治一雙小手好不容易才合成一拳，擠眉弄眼地閤上眼睛：

豈料他非常認真地祈禱：
